Thank you Jim, I also recall the wives of the pilots immediately forgiving the Aucas who perpetrated the killings. They asked God to forgive them, because they did not understand what they had done. Sound familiar?

Terry, I didn’t learn of that incident until I was preparing for MAF service. A few months later I found myself amidst the attackers, in their clearings (villages), walking the same ground, touching the same water, shaking the same hands. Brought a new understanding of God’s forgiveness. Amazing how He grants each of us unforgettable experiences with the same incident.

I never forgot that experience.
